Parenting Classes
In our meetings, we connect the inner and outer pieces of the psychic puzzle. My classes offer education and guidance that help parents understand their child’s developmental stage and feel more effective when facing moments of crisis. Together, we explore when a child is moving along developmentally and when something may be getting in the way. We address questions such as what is normal, how to recognize emotional signals, and how to communicate in an age-appropriate and emotionally meaningful way. I offer practical guidelines and rules of thumb that can help stabilize difficult situations and also clarify when further support or treatment may be needed. The overall goal is to help you feel more confident, better equipped, and proud of the thoughtful work you are already doing as a parent.

New Parents & Babies
A good start lasts for a lifetime.
Having a baby—by birth or through adoption—is a major emotional challenge. What often makes it so difficult is that we are asked to respond to someone who cannot yet communicate their needs.
Parents naturally wonder: Am I doing a good job? Is my baby happy? Is development on track? These uncertainties can lead to worry, fear, and reactions that are often unfairly judged as “bad parenting.”
These classes are designed to ease anxiety, support emotional understanding, and help smooth the early relationship between you, your baby, and your partner.
Toddlers & School Age Kids
These complex little people.
Young children are vulnerable and need constant care. They do not yet have the ability to understand or regulate their emotions, which is why they often act them out.
Some behaviors can feel intense, embarrassing, or overwhelming, leaving parents frustrated and exhausted.
Together, we learn how to decipher children’s behavior, understand what they are communicating emotionally, and respond in a way that supports growth.
Over time, the chaos becomes clearer—and the picture more meaningful.
Teenagers
The big toddlers.
During the school years, children develop strong thinking skills and independence.
In adolescence, however, this can suddenly change. Teens may seem withdrawn, irritable, unmotivated, or engaged in risky behaviors. This is often a normal regression—a necessary part of growing into adulthood.
In this phase, earlier experiences are reactivated, making adolescence confusing for both teens and parents. Together, we explore the adolescent inner world and support their emotional reorganization so they can move forward with confidence and stability.
